When I was SOLE’s content marketing manager, I found that every competitor’s “payroll card laws” page was gated. Regulations around payroll cards are confusing and variable by state, and our salespeople were frequently asked about this topic by their prospects. I pitched a project to create the industry's only publicly available payroll card legislation map in order to stand out and become a source of trustworthy information for payroll card managers. I wrote all the content and collaborated with SOLE’s legal team to ensure compliance. Our version was interactive and translated complex legislation into digestible information.
